Out in the wild forests, there
is a tree.
There is a hole in this tree!

What was that sound?
Is something in the tree?

Yessiree!
This is Jiggy, he lives in the
tree.

Jiggy is a tuxedo cat. He
doesn't wear shoes.

Somehow his nice white
socks manage to stay clean.
(Its a mystery how.)

Most cats eat the animals
of the forest.
But not Jiggy.

He makes friends with
them. Squirrels,
chipmunks, voles, and
mice.

Jiggy is afraid of most other
animals though. Such as frogs,
lizards, snakes, and big birds.

Jiggy is also terrified of dogs.
Most dogs, anyways.

Except for one dog!
His friend and neighbor,
Fraunz.

Fraunz is about as terrifying
as a towel. They play tag a
lot. Jiggy usually wins.

Jiggy is walking to his
best friend's home in
the forest.

She lives in a bush. Jiggy
looks in the entrance.

She's not there!
"Where is she?" Jiggy
wonders.

"Over here, furball!"
She's just behind the
bush.

"Hey Kiley!" Jiggy calls.
"Whatcha doing?"

"Making lunch. Wanna
help?" She replies.

"Sure!" Jiggy accepts.

"I'm making a salad," Kiley
explains. "I need some
strawberries though. Could
you run and get some?"

"Sure!" Nods Jiggy.

Jiggy goes out and picks the
6 reddest and ripest and
largest strawberries in the
patch.

He walks back to his
friend's home...

And one of the
strawberries falls from
his grasp!

Then it rolls down the
hill!

He runs after it, until he
finally hits the bottom of
the hill.

He catches up to it,
though, and its in perfect
condition.

"You got the strawberries!"
Kiley exclaims. "Now I can
finish the salad!

They finish the salad and
have an excellent lunch!
