i am starting to see haikus everywhere

what i like most about the concept of this
is using an ancient lyric form with modern
language and modern meaning

instead of a timeless subject like nature the
haikus i write are about fleeting moments

or about things nobody will remember in a few years such as
the proliferation of redneck video games and paris hilton

the juxtaposition of the ancient
with the modern can be used to
comic effect

i think it works anyway
