part 1: the Rifle

well, upon Browsing Google in search of Rifles
i came upon a rather tacky looking toy gun,
well, this can show that even the worst
looking toy guns can be created into the
coolest flash gun.
here we have it, the tacky gun:

note: the plastic
look, red cap on
nozzle and plastic
safety.

Well, if you have seen my past flash
tutorial, you will know, that you need 2
layers
Layer2: name it "Drawing"
Layer1: Name it "Gun"

Now you want to "Trace round this
picture, its better to go round the
Outside of the gun, we can go into
detail later.

Now this is done, we want to detail the
gun, so draw all of the detail you can,
remember more detail, more realistic,
which is more awesome.

If you did it right your gun should look
good even without colour, but yeah its
gonna need a quick paint job

its not great, but its not that bad. i guess

Okay so now you have yourself a decent
rifle, this can work with any kind of
weapon, or object.

Its the same with the Shotgun, so follow
the previous steps and you could have
something(probably better) than this.

next up in this tutorial, is how to
animate a gun, i have seen so
many crap flashes that animate
a gun like this

I apologise in advance for the lack of intrest to anything but the
subject at hand, the one thing people need to remember..RECOIL,
theres no such thing as a gun with recoil, and if you want a good
flash, you cant afford to have poor mistakes like these a basic pistol
recoil looks a little like this
As you can see, the Pistols recoil is not terribly powerful and soon
comes down and readies itself for the next shot.

Now that you have a clue what a pistol looks like, theres
another problem that might occur, what are other guns recoil
like, were going to use the rifle and Shotgun in this part of
the lesson, both totally different recoil motions, but can
easily be confused with people

The shotgun fire, powerful, as you can imagine, may take a
second or 2 to bring the gun down for the next shot, so a
shotgun recoil may look a little like this

The average Assualt rifle has a different recoil, its rate of fire is
alot faster, yet less powerful that that of the shotgun, the recoil
slowly moves up as the bullets are fired, a tricky weapon that can
be used for pinpoint accuracy.

So after learning about recoil, and maybe some more
gun drawing, we come to the Showcase, which is where i
show the kinds of weapons YOU could draw yourself, i
only started drawing like this recently and i am getting
some positive reviews for these guns.
