Example 1.

3+3 = 6. The required value is 9. So we need another 3.
The player drops another tile worth 3 to make three-in-a-row. A
group is made. Because the group consists of three tiles, the
player scores 81 points.

Example 2.
Four tiles, each worth 3, have already been dropped, but with a
gap in the middle. Therefore no combination has yet been made.
The player fills the gap with another tile worth 3. Three groups
are made. But because multiple groups are made, the tiles
increase their state one, two or even three times.

Example 3.
Tiles have been dropped to leave the board in a situation where
one of the tiles is ready to explode (it is red and spinning).
The player drops another tile worth 3 to make a combo.  The
red tile, as part of the combo, explodes leaving a gap. When the
tile above falls into the gap, a second group is made.

Game modes.
Basic mode
In this mode the player must always try and make the tiles add
up to 9. With each level the game gets slightly harder.

Timed mode
In this mode, a timer slides upward over the grid. If the timer
reaches the top of the grid, the tile will automatically drop.
Occasionally you won't receive a tile but a reticule. Use it to
shoot a tile closer to destruction. If the timer reaches the top of
the grid, you will automatically shoot.

Tile states.
When a group is made, a tile changes state. There are four
states to a tile:

When you make one group, the tiles in that
group increase to this state.

If you make another group the tiles look like this.

A tile after three groups have been made with it is
ready to explode. Try and make one more group...

Game modes.
Arcade mode
In this mode your actions create power-ups that can be fired
when you want. Power-ups appear at the top of the screen. To
choose one simply click on it.
Watch out for the timer. If it reaches the top the game ends.

Hints and tips.
Group numbers
Try to avoid groups of two. Not only does this score you the least
amount of points, but it is also the hardest group to remove later.
Plan ahead
While luck will get you some way, the only way to be truly
successful is to plan ahead. Don't always think about how this
tile can make a group, but more how this tile could lead to
bigger things later.
Use power-ups wisely
In arcade mode, save the best power-ups for when you really
need them.
