In this Tutorial I will teach
you how to make a frame
stop and a simple button!

START

Stopping a Frame

1. What you need
to do first is make
a frame.

2. To do this right click
on the timeline and this
should appear --------->

Next!

Back

3. Now click insert
keyframe, it is the
4th down.

4. Now double click on
the frame and the
action panel should open.

5. Now go down to
where it says stop
and double click
that action.

6. Now you just stopped
the frame, look and
admire your work of the
little a in the frame..

7. To make a simple
button, draw a box
with the Rectangle
tool.

8. Now select the text
tool above the rectangle
tool and write start in the
box.

9. Higlight your
button with the
arrow tool and
press F8.

10. In the Symbol
Properties menu
select Button and
press ok.

11. Now right click
on the button and
go to actions 2nd
from the bottom.

12. Double click at the
top where it says Go
To.

13.Where it says
Frame number
write the frame you
want to be sent to
when you press the
button!

14. Now just go to the frame you put
down and right click go to insert
kerframe and then start your movie!

15. Last but not
least go to Control>
Test Movie and
watch your button
work!

Replay

To make the frame
where you are
being sent to stop
just add another
stop action taught
at the begining.
