in our bid for power
and supremacy
for personal identity
to make a difference
everything changes
but personal effectiveness
remains the highest
art form there is
living in the moment

Practice of the Tao
By practicing the Tao
one can attain the Tao
strength and flexibility
are as one - truthfully
unified without division
correctly oriented
strong yet also balanced
benevolence, courtesy,
justice and wisdom
all return to the mind
feeling, essence,
vitality and spirit
return to the center
yin and yang coincide
fully integrated
with natural principle
within the celestial design
all entanglements are void
the Path of joyful accord
with unfailing benefit
and good fortune
thereby perfecting
essence and life
entering from striving
into nonstriving
not mistaking
the spurious
for the genuine
there is also faith
that takes
the false to be true
faith becomes enmity
attempting forced
manipulations
finding enemies
first beliving in this
one thing then in another
vain and insubstantial
the false distorts the real
