The Tyrannosaurus Rex was lucky to have <sbr />hatchlings survive the heat of a dry season. Now the <sbr />need to feed is overwhelming the family. Leaving its <sbr />precious young behind in a safe part of its territory, <sbr />the Rex heads out to hunt in the forest.

Enter the Forest

The Rex, armed with fearsome teeth and powerful <sbr />strength, walked through the forest until <sbr />approaching a small clearing. There, it found a <sbr />gurgling stream, a grassy trail, and a way into <sbr />denser forest.

Take the Trail

An area of flattened long grass and smeared <sbr />blood seems to indicate an easy meal. The tall <sbr />grass also hides an inviting cave.

Enter the Cave

Examine the <sbr />Grass

Following the strange smell, the Rex stumbles <sbr />into the egg den of a Stegosaurus! It bellows <sbr />loudly and stands ready to defend its nest.

Lunge and Attack

Walking through the ferns, the Rex stumbles upon <sbr />another Tyrannosaur. It snarls in surprise, <sbr />aggressive and territorial in the fits of heat.

The Rex sinks its sharp teeth sink into the <sbr />Ankylosaur's leg, tearing into the weakened <sbr />animal. Too injured to fight, it is easily taken down <sbr />by the Rex and killed, offering plenty of meat for <sbr />the Rex and its young. The Tyrannosaur family fill <sbr />their bellies and survive to rule the forest for <sbr />another day.

Replay

Leaving the cluster of ferns, the Rex sniffs the air <sbr />and picks up the scent of blood from some <sbr />nearby long grass. In the distance, the call of a <sbr />Rex in heat seems to echo from a nearby cave.

The trail had once been tall bushes and shrubs – <sbr />but now all that remains is been stamped down <sbr />and flattened into green carpet by a herd of heavy <sbr />Triceratops. While the bulk of the herd was a long <sbr />gone - a stray male, aggressive in heat, storms <sbr />out from the forest. It slams into the Rex, goring it <sbr />with its horns. Fatally crippled, the T. Rex dies a <sbr />painful death.

Replay

The aggressive roar is answered with the <sbr />Stegosaurus' swinging spiked tail . The T. Rex <sbr />suffers a fatal blow as the Stegosaurus <sbr />successfully protects its own nest. The Rex dies.

Replay

The purr is returned and the Tyrannosaurs mate.
Playful growling and frisky nipping signifies
successful breeding. Both satisfied – the
Tyrannosaurs part ways.

Continue Hunting

The Rex lunges for the Ankylosaur's' neck and
miscalculates the thickness of its scaly hide,
unable to bring it down in a single bite. The
surprised prey breaks free, and takes the chance
to swing its heavy tail at the Rex. The Ankylosaur
storms away after landing a blow while the Rex
suffers fatally from the struggle. The Rex dies
hungry.

Replay

In the denser forest, the breeze carries many
scents. It seems to drift into the hunter's nostrils
from two directions. A bloody scent comes from
the thick grass patch, another muskier odor from
a dense tangle of ferns.

Push through the Ferns

Lunging towards the Stegosaurus, the Rex lands
a bite. The Stegosaur panics. Its spiked tail starts
swinging violently. The T. Rex takes the chance
to escape from the violent thrashing and retreats
into some long grass outside the Stegosaur's
nesting den.

Continue

The Rex finds to find a larger Tyrannosaur in
heat. Offers to mate are accepted and the
breeding begins well. But suddenly, heavy
panting and nuzzling turns into cruel biting and
vicious snarling as the larger Rex turns
cannibalistic and inhospitable mid-session. No
longer interested in mating, it kills the Rex.

THE END

Replay

Racing towards the surprised growling Rex, vines catch
and tangle the hunter's foot. The Rex stumbles forward
and slams against the solid earth. The fall offers the
perfect chance for the other Tyrannosaur to snap its
jaws onto the attackers neck. A deadly bite ends the
battle quickly. The Rex dies.

Replay

The Rex discovered a wounded Ankylosaur <sbr />stumbling on a weak leg. Its armored hide offers it <sbr />the most protection. It sways a deadly mace-like tail <sbr />defensively. The bloody leg gives away a fatal <sbr />weakness. The tyrannosaurus' deafening roar <sbr />announces its attack as it lunges forward, <sbr />ambushing the Ankylosaur from the thicket.

The T. Rex followed the shallow stream through the <sbr />forest, lapping up fresh water as it walked. After <sbr />walking a long way, it was evident that the stream <sbr />flowed from a lake surrounded by waterfall shrouded <sbr />caves. Sniffing the air, the Rex took interest in a <sbr />strange smelling cave, a large trail, and a path that <sbr />lead into thicker forest.
