SKIP INTRO |
The year is 2145, mankind has continued to thrive, and is no longer limited to EARTH. Space colonies orbiting planets have been set up, and technology has even enabled some planets to be comfortably inhabited by humans through atmospheric transformation methods. Due to the vast size of the universe, however, the territorial human race is divided into factions and groups, claiming certain planets and sectors for their own. On EARTH, three young politicians, Andrew Urbanski, William Scobie and Paul Sandwell managed to obtain rule over the planet. Nation by nation, they toppled the national leaders from their thrones, and together, proclaimed themselves rulers… Andrew and William’s joy would be short-lived, however; Paul discovered secret plans held by united government leaders, plans for a secret weapon that would enable one to obtain absolute power over all interstellar factions. This weapon was codenamed OMEGA. Paul wanted this absolute power to himself, and upon which, betrayed Andy and William, and instantly took control of all of Earth’s armed forces. Paul managed to grow the army sufficiently enough to attack each and every space faction and gained control over them. Paul had taken over the entire solar system, and established his own empire, “The Relentless Roses” There was a flaw however, Paul’s rule was oppressive, and opposition grew. With Paul’s army dispersed throughout the solar system, opposition groups could quietly hide and grow without Paul’s knowledge. Andrew and William both survived, and each lead their own rebellion factions. Over the course of several years, Andrew’s "Independance" and Will’s "Troitska" forces managed to drive out and defeat all of the government leaders, lifting Paul’s reign over Earth. However, Andrew, and William had become rivals, and are battling for control of the Earth. The rebel forces continue to grow without Paul’s knowledge. Will the Relentless Roses be destroyed? Or will the rebels be struck down? Find out, in the OMEGA SAGA! |

INFORMATION |
INDEPENDANCE |
LEADER: ANDREW URBANKSI |
Once friends with Paul and William, Andrew has formed the one of the largest rebellion factions in order to take revenge upon Paul's betrayal... Andy's forces originate from Earth, and boasts a formidable space armarda as well as personel in numbers that could rival the Relentless Roses |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: Andrew's character has changed quite alot from the original omega Saga in terms of appearance; mainly the fact he has long hair now. |
BACK |
RELENTLESS ROSES |
LEADER: PAUL SANDWELL |
Upon discovering the power of Omega, the Paul that Andrew and William knew seemed to have died. Paul betrayed Andrew and William, and managed to gain control over most of the solar system in an oppressive dictatorship. Feared by many, his armed forces are a force to be reckoned with. As of yet, the full power of Omega is unknown... |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: In the original Omega Saga, Paul would spend his time in his presidential palace, idly playing videogames and watching TV, while his dwarf wife would nag him. Now, the dwarf wife has been replaced by Pui. |
TROITSKA |
LEADER: WILLIAM SCOBIE |
Once friends with Andrew and Paul, William was also betrayed by Paul. Since then, William has grown his own rebellion faction on the planet Earth, concequently becoming rivals with Andrew. William's armed forces are perhaps not the most largest, nor are they the tallest, perhaps because many of his troops are magical leprachauns. |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: In the original Omega Saga, William had a little leprachaun friend called 'Jimmy'... or something... Sadly, however, he was killed in action. The last of the original Omega Saga saw the battle between Andrew and William |
ROLFOPIA |
LEADER: ADOLF ROLF |
A faction in alliance with the Relentless Roses; Paul agreed the alliance as long as Adolf Rolf supported him against the increasing rebel numbers. Adolf Rolf is a strange person, favouring the World War One German helmets. He even has Mr. Pebbles, an intelligent Gorilla who is his supervisor. |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: Adolf Rolf (or just Rolf) didn't have much of a part in the original Omega Saga, starring in only a previous shortlived effort to revive the Omega Saga. |
ANDORF COLONIES |
LEADER: KIM SUNG |
A faction originally from Earth, formed during Paul's takeover. The Andorf people were exiled from the planet. Since then they have thrived as space colonies, building up for a rebellion against the Relentless Roses. The Andorf Colonies boast one of the largest Space Armardas, rivaling that of the Relentless Roses; a valuable ally to the Independance. |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: It's me! XD in the original Omega Saga, my faction had the 'Space Nova' as the flagship, a ship with an 'airhole' capable of swallowing spacecraft like Unicron from the Transformers. the name 'Airhole' is an inside joke. |
WHITE PYRAMID |
LEADER: MATTHEW WHITE |
In alliance with the Relentless Roses, the White Pyramids have a robot army that is feared by many. Thier technical knowhow makes them a valuable asset to the Relentless Roses. The robot army is a forced to be reckoned with; not only due to thier merciless nature, but also thier vast numbers. |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: Matt had a very small part in the original Omega Saga, appearing once as an ally to the Andorf faction to offer advice. Matt's character has changed alot too Also that Pyramid emblem is an Microsoft Office Clip-Art image. |
KALINA REBELLION |
LEADER: GERGE |
A very small, rather new rebel group formed in a space colony in orbit of Saturn occupied by the Relentless Roses. They have managed to keep so well hidden that the police there do not know they exist. Secretly growing and planning, their uprising is imminent. |
AUTHOR'S COMMENTS: Gerge did not make any appearence in the Omega Saga. Now's his chance to shine! The name Kalina was his idea, being the name of his Dragon Halberd. Him and his Runescape... XD |
WHAT IS THE OMEGA SAGA? |
The Omega Saga was something cooked up by me after an art lesson, I believe. During the lesson, our pal Nicholas had an eraser with 'Yes' and 'No' on each side. We'd ask it questions, give it a toss, and see what the answer was. Andrew asked if he would become ruler of the world; the rubber said Yes. Paul asked if he would rule the universe. Again, it said yes. After asking it several questions we came up with an interesting scenario, one I couldn't resist drawing out in comic form... Soon I began drawing little episodes, each one side of A4, of this war between Andrew and Paul. While it came to an early end, it was fun while it lasted. Inspired by the Star Wars Clone Wars series I decided I would revive the Omega Saga in a series of Short Flash animations in the form of an e-manga. This is a preliminary test animation that I have done for fun, practice, and to get you into a general idea of what the Omega Saga is. Omega Saga will be coming your way soon. But not before the Supa go-go Man 3 part 2 of course ;) |
Mechas Each faction has a mecha, piloted by the leaders for one-on-one showdowns. Extremely versatile, the most powerful single military unit for any army. However, it is very expensive, and hence usually only one is made per army. |
