Your scores have been collected. |
General: Dark mages have the most power of the auras however have a tendency to be the most impulsive of them as well. Though they mostly work alone they often ally with Silver types. Dark mages also seem to have a large amount of good luck. Strengths: Speed, power and magic. Their elements of ice, fire and lightning allow them to be unhurt by fire and walk on ice as well as see in darkness. Their elemental attacks and dark blades are the most well-known spells but machine control is also used at times. In a pinch, they can also distort the very fabric of time to open portals. Weaknesses: Very impulsive, often rushing headfirst without thinking, especially when angered. In battle light magic and physical attacks are the worst things that can happen to a dark mage. |
Dark |
General: Silver mages are often quiet and keep mostly to themselves away from most other clans. Silver auras are slightly more common than gold, but gold auras are more often seen. Strengths: Intelligence, control and reserve. Silvers are generally reclusive and often the quietest of the auras, main powers they seem to use are sleep, foresight and mind control. Also they have an ability for escaping, which is useful. Weaknesses: The detachment of silver from others makes them occasionally forget about other people having feelings and how they effect them, causing arguments with the supportive gold. Unfortunately they are very vulnerable to pure gold attacks. |
Silver |
General: Neutral mages are one of the most balanced auras, as they aren’t inclined to lighter auras or darker ones but show traits of both. They can use low-level attacks from all auras and tend to copy another person’s fighting style. Strengths: Versatile, level-headed, good at physical attacks. Can also work with anyone though mostly prefer Silver/Light or Gold/Dark. Less likely to rush into a situation and think about consequences. Can also heal rapidly. Weaknesses: Rarely use high-powered attacks and so are quite often easily overpowered by other mages with stronger attack magic, Their magic is the most uncontrolled of the auras and forms in it’s own time. |
Neutral |
General: Gold auras are rare among people but are not to be confused with the lighter gold of the Great Guides, though they have similar strengths. Strengths: Intelligence, stamina and agility. Mostly they like to adapt other people’s spells, for instance creating a sword of magic, though they can use other auras low powered spells. This gives them a wide range of spells, though not as powerful. Two branches of magic that are easy for them and hard for others to master are shapeshifting and song/dance magic. Weaknesses: Mostly low powered attacks, also a tendency to lead interesting lives, and hence get injured, not to mention sacrificing themselves for others... On their own they prefer to avoid fights, which often leads people to believe they’re cowardly, they’re not, just too sensible at times. |
Gold |
Light |
General: Although the auras are usually intelligent and have good overall stats they are intensely logical and often stick to being friends with those they can most relate to, leading to conflicts with impulsive and sometimes careless dark mages. Strengths: Power, logic and persuasion. Light mages mostly prefer to use technology rather than magic and have an affinity for computers in particular, being able to merge with electricity and light beams at times. Their strengths lie in preparation beforehand, making strategies and acquiring allies. Weaknesses: As Light mages are intensely logical they can be easily thrown off by things that seem crazy. As a result they can over think about a problem to counter any strategy that may occur, neglecting simple problems in complicated plans. They can get very annoyed at those who disregard plans in favour of on-the-spot tactics, leading to conflicts with impulsive Dark mages. |
Light/Gold |
General: These auras are more logical than most but have a gold’s sense of justice, which some light sides seem to lose in favour of logic. Light and gold are quite similar types so there may be some confusion in identifying them. Strengths: Intelligence, logic and agility. These mages seem to swap between technology and magic and are good at using both, though their spells are mostly low level and general when used. These prefer to make strategies beforehand but can make shorter term ones on the spot. Weaknesses: As they mostly use low powered attacks they can be susceptible to short blasts of high power. Also they prefer not to fight if at all possible, though they have gold’s temper, which, though hard to release, can lead their reason to be clouded as it builds, leading to many mistakes. |
Light/Silver |
General: As a mix of light and silver characteristics light/silvers are often introverts, preferring to keep to themselves like silvers and burying themselves in a task like light types. Strengths: Reserve, logic, control. Like silvers they prefer to stay out of conflicts but when they do they can be surprisingly tough. They also have a quite high store of power, though they tend to have an affinity with computers too. Weaknesses: Hold grudges for a long time without mentioning them, leading them to ignore other actions in their concentration. Their introvert nature also means they can end up with few allies other than their own kinds, leaving them vulnerable to mixed attacks, especially gold. |
General: The only known example of this is Estantia’s clone, which is a melding of DMP and Estantia. This aura usually turns out to be stubborn and quick to anger as a result of gold and dark characteristics. Strengths: Speed, magic and intelligence, though the last may be clouded by a dark mage’s liking for rushing into things. The range of spells is large, shapeshifting and dance magic with some general ability added to a dark mage’s range, though it is not as large as a gold mage’s. However they are quite powerful and fast. Weaknesses: A dark mage’s tendency to get into scrapes is added to a gold mage’s for attracting them, meaning that these people usually end up near the centre of trouble. Their stubbornness (from BOTH auras) also doesn’t help this, however they usually manage to pull it off with quick thinking and a bit of luck. |
Gold/Dark |
General: Silver/Dark types often study dark magic as it has more power and have a heightened control over ice as they get it from both auras. Silver/Dark mages will quite often work with dark as they can fuse with dark weaponry to boost it’s power. Strengths: Intelligence, control and resistance, few have found a way to contain a silver mage due to its ability to get out of things. The silver’s have the ability to contain and control other organisms, mind and body, though this can be easily turned to evil uses. Silver’s are also less susceptible to physical attacks than their dark counterparts and are also more resistant to light attacks. Silver/dark mages also are generally more level headed than pure dark, and less likely to rush into things. Weaknesses: The silver element means that dark spells are learnt slower, this can easily lead a silver/dark mage to doubt themselves. They are also very susceptible to purely gold and fire attacks as ‘The Master’ has learnt to his cost. |
