<p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">Chibi has decided to terminate The Fractured Soldat Project and disengage from the project goals and initiatives. The forums will be <sbr />stripped of its Soldat focus and moved to the fracs.net domain. The Free Ventrilo service at this time has no plans of being <sbr />discontinued. I will be looking for new hosting opportunities in addition to Counter-Strike and welcome any suggestions.</font></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">The project's conception was originally in support of friends who I enjoyed playing the game with. We shared certain ideals and <sbr />desires that I wanted to build on and further the Soldat experience for their benefit. Although the main project intentions to this day <sbr />have not been achieved, the project's foundations still supported the demanding weight of the largest growing North American Soldat <sbr />community it had fostered. Admittedly, the project is indeed a failure; the friends I started the project for, like me, have not been <sbr />interested in the game for some time. But the community was still there and I still cared about offering service to those who became <sbr />accustomed to the free services that are provided. So I held on longer in hopes of revival.</font></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">Because the release of Soldat 1.4 requires that a server version developed by enesce be used in dedicated hosting, I am not hosting <sbr />Soldat any longer. Opting to discontinue Soldat server hosting was inevitable, I knew, for some time now. Whether or not it was <sbr />incentive enough to quit supporting Soldat altogether was what was still questionable. Further explanation for this is that although I <sbr />am (was) a prodominant Soldat Community leader and contributor to the North American perseverance of the game, enesce, who is <sbr />*supposed* to be a respectable (in theory) developer for Soldat, still found it necessary and even appropriate to publically slander <sbr />me, my efforts, and the services I have dedicated much time and energy to bring to all of you even during serious health <sbr />complications and financial difficulties. enesce now states that I'm being 'a baby about it' and that its my problem because 'I (enesce) <sbr />don't even know this person (Chibi).' </font></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">Surely you can understand why Chibi would feel contempt for him, since he is supposed to be a developer and supporter of the <sbr />game, yet finds the time to make defamatory remarks about the integrity of my own support for it. And then he has the audacity to <sbr />turn around and say he doesn't even know me. This is insulting not only to me, but should be insulting to you the players of this <sbr />game. I can be forgiving in that even though he spent years tearing this game apart with his hacking tools and malicious exploits, he <sbr />could honestly be trying to make up for his indecent history. But now I believe that's all hearsay. With the poor character he continues <sbr />to demonstrate, and not only to me, an obvious contributor to Soldat, but to many of you including his own customers, I am sincerely <sbr />discusted. He is a bad person and a poor role model for anyone. His new status in Soldat is a disgrace and a definate indicator to me <sbr />that now is the time to pull out. I am done with Soldat. And you know what? To be honest, I never really liked the people in power or <sbr />in control surrounding this game in the first place either. </font></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">I understand that this is a hit for many of you, and I am sorry that my reasons are selfish. But I have made my decision and am <sbr />standing by it for the time being. I gave my reasoning the best I could above, and ask that you try to understand my prerogative. <sbr />Those of you who had free server hosting I hope you enjoyed it while that lasted.</font></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">Chibi thanks everyone for their support and involvement. You have no idea how much I appreciated it. Thank you. I also want to note <sbr />thanks to those who opposed enesces negative comments when they were made. You defended me, and now I am letting you down. <sbr />For that I am shameful. At times, and as of late, I have found my tolerance for the community to be very short and I would do things <sbr />that may have questioned or diminished my credibility with some people. So maybe this will be what buries me.</font></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><font face="Arial" size="10" color="#ffffff" letterSpacing="0.000000" kerning="1">-Chibi</font></p> |
