Their town was never quiet, as the women went about doing whatever ladies did, the men all gathering for work, and children laughing and roaming the streets freely. Though the town's hustle and bustle was merry and lively, it did not quite compare to the bazaar. The bazaar was the town's centre of life, with vibrant colours splashed over each corner, people of different races aplenty as the bazaar attracted everyone. Among those who crowded the bazaar today, there was an Angel who slipped past them gracefully. Despite being known as an Angel, they were no such celestial creatures, merely a race of human who were born with wings. Their other outstanding features are mainly fair hair and skin. But this Angel in particular, was special. Allen Walker was purportedly the fairest of the Angels who came upon this town, a crossroad of cultures. His white, almost moonlight coloured hair was short, but it framed his face well. His eyes sparkled like silver droplets as he smiled at those who stared. His birthmark was most unusual, as it was a red pentacle above his left brow, with an almost cross-like mark under his left eye, but it was nothing particular to note for the town which has seen all sorts of characters. However, this Angel was flawed, as his left wing is ink black, darker than a crow's feathers. Others of his kind tend to avoid Allen, as they feared that his wing colour is a sign of his abnormality. But Allen was not as bothered since he came to this town, as other species of human were more accepting of his anomaly. In fact, he was very happy that he chanced upon this town, as he had met someone who had become very special to him. Allen was actually on his way to meet him, when poorly hidden whispers reached his ears. "My, isn't that Toujin handsome?" "Yes, even for a Toujin, he's very exquisite." |

The gossiping women were staring at a man sitting some distance away. The man, whom they referred to as a Toujin, was indeed worthy of their attention. Toujin are another race, though they are also commonly called Easteners as they originally came from the East. The distinguishing feature of their species was the fact that they all had black hair and black eyes, but the common characteristics are forgotten easily, as almost each and every Toujin are endowed with exotic beauty, their Oriental features sharp and rare even in this town. And this Toujin that the women are ogling at was especially handsome, his obsidian eyes alert and watchful of the crowd around him where he sat. His silken ebony hair was neatly bound into a ponytail, some loose strands wavering in the light breeze that blew through the bazaar. His expression was one of boredom, but it did nothing to dim his finely chiselled face. Allen almost laughed, wondering what the man would do if he told him what the women said. That man currently being observed with fervent admiration by the women was precisely the person he was going to meet. Kanda Yu is indeed a looker, if one was to say it casually, but the man in question remained largely ignorant of the fact. Add the fact that Kanda was mostly a grumpy young man to that, and what one would get was a handsome but inapproachable Toujin. "I wonder if he is waiting for someone..." "Maybe we should go over and strike up a conversation with him." As the women schemed of possible ways to approach Kanda, Allen was suddenly struck with the strangest sensation. While he was rather amused at the reaction Kanda unwittingly elicited out of the women, and thought it to be quite appropriate that Kanda would be praised for his beauty, he was most discomfited by the idea that these women should approach Kanda. |
It was not as if the women themselves were not pretty, they were adequately so; it was almost normal that women would want to approach a man they found attractive, but Allen did not quite like that. He was in no position to bar Kanda from being approached by the women despite their relationship, and he knew Kanda was not quite the sociable sort, but it still irked him. Allen was close to naming that strange feeling when he felt someone tug on the hem of his shirt. Surprised, the Angel turned around and had to readjust his vision to a lower level. A group of children had gathered behind him, and there were almost half a dozen pair of bright eyes staring in awe at Allen. Allen crouched down a little to come to the children's eye level, and smiled kindly. "Yes, how can I help you all?" One of the children, a little girl possibly only seven years old, boldly stepped forward and her young voice bubbled with curiosity as she asked, "Are you an Angel?" Allen laughed at the question and nodded his assent. Despite the town's fame as a cross-roads of people and culture, there were few Angels to be found here. Angels, being able to fly, preferred to stay by the mountains where the air could lift them higher in flight, and they were quiet people, preferring silence and tranquillity. Another girl came up and said, "Your eyes are very pretty, like diamonds!" She was fervently staring into Allen's eyes, which were special even among Angels, as it was the fairest colour to be found among their kind. His silver irises glittered with mirth as he thanked the girl for her praise. Allen liked children; they were happy and innocent creatures regardless of race. And then one of the boys sceptically asked, "Can you really fly?" "Yes, I can," Allen answered patiently, having had children who asked him the same question before. |
"Then can you show it to us?" The boy insisted. Allen smiled but he shook his head. "I would love to, but the bazaar isn't actually a suitable place for me to spread my wings. I might knock over things and cause trouble." Just then, another boy stepped up. He looked younger than the other boy, and more timid. He twiddled with his thumbs, and seemed to be unable to voice his words properly, but Allen waited for the nervous child to speak. Finally, semi-stuttering, the boy asked, "C-Can I...touch your w-wings? T-The black one..." That question caught Allen completely off-guard. It was one matter to touch his wings; it was another to want to touch his black one. Of course, it wasn't as if the children or other races knew that his black wing was considered a bane for most times, but they knew enough that it was not normal for Angels to have black wings. "Are you sure you would like to touch my black wing? It's not exactly normal..." Allen whispered a little wistfully. But the boy shook his head, and his nervous demeanour disappeared as he grinned widely. "But that means you're the only Angel with a black wing, right? That makes you special!" Allen was flabbergasted by the answer, but immediately it brought a smile to his face. It was possibly the first time that anyone had considered his black wing special. It made Allen happy that anyone would think of it so. Angels did not trust others easily with their wings, but Allen thought that the boy deserved it. "Alright then, you can touch it, but be careful," he stated as he stood up, flexing his wing a little to give the children a better view. The boy nodded, and slowly reached out. That was, until a hand snaked around Allen's waist and pulled the Angel out of the boy's reach. "Sorry, but only I can touch this one's wings." |
Allen was surprised, to say the least. Kanda was by his side, the one who pulled him away. His expression was no different from before, disinterested. The children gaped at him, but Kanda waved them away. "Go back to your parents. I've got business with this one," Kanda stated it bluntly and pulled Allen away from them. Allen smiled apologetically to the children, and let himself be led out of the bazaar by Kanda. "When did you realise I was there?" "When I saw you crouching down. No matter where you go, you stand out." To Allen's question, Kanda answered plainly. Kanda however, was not referring to the mismatched colours of Allen's wings. To him, Allen stood out because of his hair colour. Some people joked that it looked like an old man's hair, but for Kanda, that silvery white was a colour that only Allen possessed. Even in the multicolour portrait painted by the bazaar's everyday on-goings, it would always be outshined by Allen's colours. "So...Why didn't you let the children touch my wings? Could you be jealous?" Allen meant for this to be a joke; how could one be jealous of children who did not have any ulterior motives? However, he was caught off-guard when Kanda simply nodded. Taken by surprise, Allen blurted, "You were?! Why?!" Kanda's steps paused, and with it Allen's steps. They were now standing before a lake. Kanda ran his fingers down lightly on Allen's wing. The tingling sensation of fingers gently stroking his feathers made Allen shiver, and he rustled his wings a little in an effort to reduce the sensation. The momentary silence was broken when Kanda spoke again. "I won't let my guard down, not even against children. You're mine, moyashi. The moment I found you, I decided that already." |
Yes, it was Kanda who found Allen. Or rather, Allen dropped in unceremoniously into Kanda's life. It had happened at this very lake they were standing before. Kanda had been doing his usual morning training by the lakeside. It was tranquil, and the peace allowed Kanda to focus better. That was, until a certain someone plummeted into the lake from the sky. Allen had been running errands for his mentor until he was ragged; he was on his way back when his wings gave in to lethargy and the Angel simply fell. While Allen was thankful that he had fallen into water instead of landing on the hard ground, he panicked. Angels were not built to swim, especially when their feathers grew heavier as they become bogged with water. It was all Allen could do to keep his head just above water level and shout for help. He sank quickly much to his dismay, and just when Allen thought he was going to die in such a pathetic manner, someone had hauled him up. Even as the Angel spluttered for air, the stranger kept Allen's head above the water and managed to swim back to shore with Allen in tow; despite how heavy Allen was with his thoroughly soaked wings. That stranger was Kanda. "You had such a foul mouth then...But you still do," Allen chuckled as Kanda scowled at the comment. "Do you want me to shut you up with this foul mouth?" Allen hastily shook his head at Kanda's 'offer'. It was a rocky start to their relationship. Though Kanda saved Allen, he had yelled at Allen and scolded him for being 'an idiot'. Allen was grateful to Kanda, but it didn't mean he was going to take the insults quietly. Even so, those cat-and-dog days were part of their daily interaction, and Allen found himself gradually attracted to the handsome Toujin. Though Kanda was foul mouthed and generally had a bad temper, the man himself was strong, proud in a good manner, and was actually quite gentle when one had a better grasp on his character. |
Although for Kanda the start was the same, the conditions were quite different from Allen. He had fallen in love with Allen from the very moment he rescued the Angel from drowning. Being a Toujin, he had never seen such brilliant colours. The white hair that had been plastered to Allen's face, silver eyes that watered as Allen tried to see; the close brush with drowning had done nothing to diminish the brilliance of Allen's colours. Even on that day, when Allen spread his wings to dry in the sun, it was all Kanda could do not to stare at them the whole time. He was not one to immediately act on his feelings, especially not when Allen seemed oblivious to them. But it came as a pleasant surprise to Kanda when Allen let slip of his feelings, and they had been together since then. Of course, Kanda kept it a secret that it was he who had fallen first. Though now that they're together, the Toujin had no qualms about admitting his jealousy; he has his rights when it comes to Allen. Allen was mildly surprised when Kanda nuzzled into his dark feathers, leaving a light kiss upon his black wing. Although they are together, it was rare for Kanda to display such tender gestures in public. "Don't ever let anyone touch your feathers," Kanda reminded. An Angel would never carelessly allow another to touch their wings; only those who were given utmost trust were allowed to do so. Kanda knew that, and he selfishly wanted to be the only one Allen would allow to touch his wings. Allen was honestly touched by Kanda's jealousy. He felt happy that Kanda loved him enough to feel jealous, even though he was sorry that even children were not excluded from Kanda's point of view. The Angel was never quite used to such emotions as his own kind did not look upon his black wing kindly, but to receive such precious emotions from the person he loves, no less, made Allen a completely content Angel. |
He knew he was jealous when he saw the women gossiping and scheming to get close to Kanda; Kanda was that precious to him. But Kanda had gotten jealous too, and with mischievous desire Allen decided not to tell Kanda that it was the Angel who had gotten jealous first. After all, it had been Allen to confess his feelings first; it shouldn't be necessary to tell Kanda that he'd been jealous first as well. This would remain his little secret. Simply happy at the devotion that Kanda showed him, Allen gave Kanda a quick kiss in appreciation instead of revealing the little memory of jealousy which had been playing in his head then. Kanda was mildly surprised by the surprise kiss, but Allen took his hand and pulled him towards town again, with a smile so joyous it was infectious. "Let's have lunch; it'll be my treat today!" Kanda silently observed Allen for a moment, taking in the Angel's expression of bliss. Then, his own lips curled into a small smile as he leant in to whisper into Allen's ear, "If you act so cute, I won't be able to stop myself from wanting to have you." Allen blushed a deep red and launched into a tirade, which mostly was to mask his embarrassment rather than protest Kanda's words. The Toujin simply continued to smile. He knew from Allen's reaction; he was equally loved by this Angel of his. |
Allen did not get very far though, as Kanda's fingers were wrapped around his wrist. He looked over his shoulder in curiosity, his cheeks still smeared with a slight pink from what Kanda had said to him earlier. Kanda was staring at him, though Allen had absolutely no idea why. And then, Kanda tugged at his hand, causing Allen to stumble right into his arms. "Kanda...?" "I've changed my mind. We can have lunch later." Allen looked up in time to see Kanda leaning down just enough to kiss him. His glove hand which had been cupping Allen's cheek slowly lingered down his neck and started to unbutton Allen's top. Suddenly understanding his lover's intentions, Allen blushed and started wriggling out of Kanda's grasp. "We can't, we're in public!" "Hardly anyone comes here…If you're really bothered about it, then..." Kanda's lips curled into a smirk as he dragged Allen towards the shrubberies that grew by the lakeside. Allen's wings bristled, about to tell Kanda that just hiding wasn't going to help the situation any, when the man slipped his hand in right at the joint of Allen's wing, and curled his fingers into the feathers lightly. Allen twitched, losing his voice at the indescribable sensation. His lover continued to stroke his feathers, making each touch a slow motion, fingers caressing each quill gently down to the flesh. The Angel quivered, the constant stroking robbing him of his energy. It wasn't long before Allen's legs gave way, forcing him to cling onto Kanda, who carefully lowered Allen to the ground. As Allen's wings prevented him from lying down, he allowed Allen to lean into him instead. |
"You become so intoxicated when someone touches your feathers...And you dare let someone else try to touch your wings?" Kanda whispered, more amused than angry as he continued teasing Allen's wings. Allen trembled, powerless to even jerk his wings away from Kanda's torturous caresses. "T-That's because...You're the one touching me..." It would have killed Allen to confess such an embarrassing truth, but it was truth. He had never experienced such pleasurable feelings unless it was Kanda touching his wings. Even when Angels groom each other's wings where they can't reach, they never had such reactions. Kanda suddenly became quiet, and Allen was almost curious enough to ask when Kanda looked at him and smiled. "It's because you keep saying these things that I can't stop myself." "Eh...Aah...!" Whatever Allen wanted to say was lost somewhere in his throat as a startled squeal escaped him. Kanda smirked at the reaction, allowing his fingers to sink deeper into Allen's opening, causing Allen to squirm on his lap from the sensation. The Angel trembled in his grasp, softly whining when Kanda curled his fingers inside him. Allen was close to tears from being teased relentlessly, but he gasped softly as Kanda took his hand and placed it over the bulge in his pants. "Touch me...And see for yourself...What I feel..." Kanda's whisper tickled his ear; Allen carefully unzipped his pants to release the hard organ from the constricting space. His already flushed cheeks grew darker as he slowly grasped Kanda's erection, the man hissing a little from the skin contact. However, Kanda's dark eyes held Allen's silver orbs in place, telling Allen to understand what he meant to say. Allen swallowed hard, and started moving his hand rhythmically. |
Kanda's breathing grew harsher but he never stopped his own movements, his fingers digging deeper into Allen, who started moaning softly from the ministration. The Angel understood what Kanda wanted him to know. The Toujin was a man of few words, especially when it came to his own feelings. But gradually, Allen became filled with happiness. What Kanda could not put in words, he expressed in actions, as he was trying to tell Allen now. "Kanda..." Kanda lifted his head at Allen's voice, and was greeted by his lips. Allen's arms came around Kanda's shoulders as he deepened the kiss, parting his lips just enough for Kanda to slip his tongue in. Kanda leisurely explored each crevice, playfully jostling with Allen's tongue before slipping away. Allen's rouge-coloured cheeks made good contrast with his silver eyes, which glowed brighter than they usually would, but what truly caught Kanda's attention was Allen's smile. "I love you." Allen quietly conveyed those three words in answer to Kanda. Kanda had said nothing, but he had expressed the very same feeling then. |
Kanda desires me because he loves me. |
It may be a little lecherous of him, but this was one of Kanda's ways of expressing his love, and Allen could not find it in himself to stop Kanda after what the Toujin expressed to him. Kanda merely nuzzled into Allen's neck in answer, nibbling down on the tender flesh. His palms slipped under Allen's thighs and slowly hoisted him up, carefully invading Allen's tight space. |
Allen's laboured breathing grew heavier in Kanda's ears; the Angel clutched at Kanda's shoulders as if his life depended on it. Kanda could feel Allen completely engulfing him, and slowly began to move. Allen mewled and clenched harder if that was even possible, drawing a soft grunt from his lover. Kanda would never say it aloud, but Allen was absolutely bewitching when he wore that expression; the one where his eyes grow half-lidded from the pleasure, cheeks sweetly coloured apple-red, lips just slightly parted as he sighed, but the silver orbs never leaving Kanda's own vision. "Nnh...!" Allen tried to bite down the moan when Kanda reached a sensitive spot inside him; he still remembered they were outside. Kanda knew where he touched made Allen feel good and directed his efforts into repeatedly stimulating that certain spot, his thrusts growing in speed and intensity. Allen's hips jerked and twitched in unison with Kanda's force, wings moving to softly envelop the couple as his voice spiralled out of control into licentious cries. "K-Kanda...!" With one last whimper of his lover's name, Allen felt his own release wash over him like a great relief to the pent up desires. At the same moment, Kanda came inside Allen, perfectly satisfied with filling his lover with his seed. Allen panted, allowing all of his weight to fall onto Kanda, who received it without problem. After all, he did haul a soaked Allen all the way to the shore then. "...I take back my words." Allen's voice was muffled from where he spoke, his head resting in the crook of Kanda's neck. "...What?" |
For a moment, Kanda sounded almost concerned. "There's no way I'm going to treat you to lunch..." Not after this public tryst, Allen mumbled a little resentfully while half-heartedly attempting to glare at the Toujin. Kanda was silent for a while, before he smirked and pressed a kiss to Allen's lips. "I never expected much out of a glutton's offer." "Glutton?!" Allen pouted, but he was silenced when Kanda kissed him again. The Toujin's gentle embrace did not change as he brushed away the hair that obscured Allen's beautiful eyes, and put into words what he rarely did say; "You are more than enough for me." |
