Every Manga or Anime artist has
something unique about their style of
drawing. Taking the time to compare
a character from one anime series to
another, you will find that they
can be very different at times.

I say this because my style
is no different. And this
is made to show how my
style is done.

Face

The face is probably the most unique
part of anime. We will start with
the male eyes.

First start with 2 parallel lines that
curve away from each other slightly.
The Bottom line should be a
little smaller than the top.

Now add a line that connects the top
and bottom lines on the left.

The eye lash is next. Can't really explain
how, but do this.^-^

Now the pupil thingy. Like this.

Now we will make it shiney. Add a
somewhat circle in an uppersection
of the pupil depending on where the
light is coming from.

And the inner pupil is drawn like this.
I don't know why, but it makes it shiney.

Now the eye brow which is basically
a long curvy triangle on boys. Not
recomended on female eyes.

Color for the eye is pretty basic. The Eyelash is
black as well as the eye brow.The small circle
thing is white, and under the inner pupil is
up to you. I'm going to chose blue.

Male Eye

Female eyes are next. There are many
kinds of female eyes, but this is my
favorite.I always start with
a line like this.

Now for a line under this one. It
must be smaller and curving away
from the top line.

Now like before, make a line from the
top left corner to the lower left corner.
But this time don't make it touch.

Ok. Eye lash time! Once again I can't
really explain it. So I'll just show you.

Now the pupil thingy. Like this.

The shiney circle thing is next.
Same as before, in an upper corner
of the eye.

And the inner pupil once again.
Same as before on the male eye.

The female eyebrow is much more
simple than the male eyebrow. I
only use a line, but some anime
artists like to use a thinker line.

Coloring is the same as before. But this
time I'm going to use yellow for under
the pupil this time.

Now that you know how to draw these eyes,
we will go over how to position them on a
persons head.

Now, in the HEADS Tutorial, it said that
the line going down the face is there so it's
easier to determine eye distance and semetry.

I will show you how this works.

We will use this head to position the male
eyes on the head with great semetry.

Ok. Note that both eyes are the same
measure away from the line.

Also note how this persons right eye is
smaller than his left. This gives a better
illusion of his head in the 3/4 View.

Now I'm going to show
you how to finish the face. Ya know.
Nose, mouth, and hair.

The nose is pretty simple. Just 2 lines. At
least that's what I use. It's like a curvy
slanted "L". Like this.

Now the mouth. When closed, it's
just a line like this.

And now we can erase the center line.

Time for hair! I love doing hair. Though
it's harder for some people than others.

I drew BB! And that's how I
do my Anime faces.
