When I look up at the sky I see all the stars twinkling They're like the people of this planet, all emitting different types of light. I want to stand out in that crowd, and shine brighter than everyone else. I close my eyes and swear. I entrust my dream to a shooting star. This is the park I always go to. I can watch the night scenery from the slide. Since long ago, it has been my own special seat. Whenever I have any troubles, I always come here. Ever since that time, I've been chasing my dream. Even now, it hasn't come true Maybe this is the end. What a weak voice I speak in. There are days when I feel bitter about it. But then I'll remember looking for the shooting star in that starry sky That wish I made when I was small hasn't changed with the passage of time. |

MAIN MENU |
Well actually I'm not really Moosh. The real Moosh asked me to do this for him. |
He's a really lazy guy so yeah... lol but just pretend I'm the really Moosh. Makes things alittle easier. |
Anyways! That's not the important thing that I have to say first before everything. |
Okay, what you must know first is that I'm not a professional anime/manga artist |
I'm just a normal kid with a bunch of time on his hands for drawing anime. |
So the stuff you will learn may or may not be how the professionals do it. |
If you like what you see, go for it and learn how I do things. |
If you don't like the Moosh'd style, then you don't have to do it this way. |
Also please remember this is only the Moosh'd way |
There's so many different ways to draw anime!! |
// Different Styles |
Be creative!! Use this as a guide but go on and make your own style! |
...well that's basically all I had to say. |
...Also that I suck at drawing bodies lol. Please don't use what is said in that section of this tutorial too seriously :P |
// END |
Alright!! Before being able to make a whole face, it's better to learn each piece of it first. |

Well...I think that's the best way to learn anyways :P |
In this section, I will show you chibi and serious eyes, noses and mouths in detail. |
Okay! Let's just dive into it, shall we? :D |
[SERIOUS ANIME EYES] |
Okay, let's start with the serious eyes. Just like my eyes. |
If you want to learn cuter eyes, look for [CHIBI EYES] with the skip menu. |
Anyways, eyes are actually pretty easy to draw. |
Start by drawing the top of the eye. Make it long and slender. |
Try to make it curve upwards near the back of the eye. If you're a beginner, practice making curved strokes. |
Now the second stroke curves back. Making a sort of football shape. |
Lastly, add a small stoke downwards at the front of the eye to enclose everything. |
...That's basically it for the outline of the eye lol. (I told you it was easy) |
Now let's add the iris. |
The iris is practically just a circle...I don't really know how to decribe it anymore than that :P |
To make it seem alittle more realistic, try to keep the iris near the top, hiding a bit of the top part of it. |
Now comes coloring! :D |
Firstly, give it the eye white. |
Make the eye white keep the oval shape of the whole eye. |
For the iris, start by filling it with the base color of the eye. I'm going to make a red eye here. |
Make the base color dark shade of that color. |
Hmm...I think it needs a darker outline so I'm going to do that. |
Now add a smaller circle as a pupil. Try to keep a darker color than the iris. Usually black works well. |
Okay...technically you're done. But let's add more to make it more awesome!! |
First add a lighter color of the base at the bottom half of the iris. |
You can highlight it with another lighter color for shine, if you want to make it more fancy. |
And finally add the famous anime eye shine! |
And there you have it!! A serious anime eye! |
Of course, you're free to change it up! Change the length, iris size, curves etc. and make unique eyes!! |
// Example Eyes |
If you want to make female eyes, then there's some things you might want to remember... |
Round, Big, and Eyelashes |
When making female eyes, try making the top curve around the middle of the eye (to make it round) |
Make the iris big. |
And finally, make the top alittle darker and thicker near the edges to create nice eyelashes. |
So yeah...It's just like any other eye, just with a few small changes. |
To make a less cuter (more mature) female eye, remove the roundness but keep the nice thick eyelashes. |
Okay we're done with serious eyes! Both for male and female! Next up, [CHIBI EYES] |
[CHIBI ANIME EYES] |
Alright, the goal to chibi eyes is cute, sparkly and FREAKING HUGE |
I'd say, most chibi eyes can take up to more than 50% of the character's face. |
Okay, let's start the cuteness with a nice round top of the eye. |
Look for a nice round oval shape when doing this. |
Now add a line for the bottom of the eye. Try to keep it shorter than the top. |
Next, draw the iris. Remember to keep it nice and large. |
And that's about it for the outline. Coloring is next. |
First let's do the eye white. |
Next, fill it in with a dark base color of the eye. I'm going to go with red (cause red eyes are cool lol) |
If you've read the [SERIOUS EYES] already, the coloring is very similar. |
Anyways, thicken the outline of the iris with black |
Now add the darker pupil. Try to make it big and round. |
Next, add a lighter shade at the bottom 1/3 of the eye. |
You can add more levels of lighter shades to give it more depth. |
Alright, let's add blobs of white to give it some shine. |
First one should be in the upper left or upper right and should be biggest. |
It should be oval shaped and round...and pretty big. |
You can now add more spots or white as shine. I'll stick with one more. |
TADA!! Cute, sparkly and freaking huge. |
Okay, now both serious and chibi eyes are covered. I'm going to give you tips on "sideways eyes" before moving onto noses. |
[SIDEWAYS EYE TIPS] |
When making eyes on the side of someones face, everything is squished horizontally. |
Here's an example of a normal eye, and a sideways eye. |
// Normal eye |
// Sideways eye |
Notice how both the outline of the eye and the iris is shorter lengthwise. |
But, they are usually the same height. |
One last thing I have to say about sideways eyes... |
When coloring, put the pupil where it is facing, not the center of the iris like normal view. |
Okay! Now I can offically say that eyes are done! Onto noses! |
[NOSES] |
Alright, there are three types of noses that I use: |
Full-bridge nose, partial nose and nostril nose. |
If you are looking to learn how to make "sideways noses" go look at [HEAD CONSTRUCTION] since I consider that kind of nose part of the head shape. (Main menu) |
Okay, the first nose is (what I call) the Full-bridge nose. This name is probably not what you officially call it. |
Anyways, This nose is usually used with high detail characters. Mostly found in characters from the anime BLEACH. |
To start this nose, it's better to have the eyes and mouth done first, because almost always the nose is between them. |
Okay, the main part of this nose is made of two strokes. |
This is the first stroke. |
The first stroke starts leveled with the top of the eye and ends at around cheek level. |
Also note that this stroke is not straight down, it curves outward a bit at the end. |
The last stroke is a simple stroke back, making it look like a nose. |
To finish it up, let's a small dash as a nostril. |
Done!! Cool, eh? :) |
There's not much to shading this but a good shade hotspot for this nose is around the nostrils |
Okay now I will explain Partial noses. |
This nose is basically the same as the Full-Bridge nose execpt it only has the bottom part of it. (Hence partial) |
My nose is a partial nose lol |
Since you already know how to draw a Full-Bridge nose, all you really have to do is erase the long part of it. |
Though, it's alittle more important to make it seem like it's popping out so try to make the ">" rounder. |
If you are free handing it without doing the Full-Bridge nose first, then just remember that the ">" is at cheek level. |
Viola! Partial nose! |
The last nose is the nostril nose. |
It's even easier than the partial nose since...it's only two nostrils. |
There are three things you should know when making a nice nostril nose |
1) Like the other noses, this nose is inbetween the eyes and at cheek level. |
2) The nostrils are round curves the curve inward. |
3) To make it look popped out, try your best to give it shade underneath the two nostrils. |
Phew...There, 3 slightly different types of noses. |
I have one last tip about noses... |
Noses are optional when drawing chibi. Though, if you plan to use a nose, I suggest avoiding Full-bridge noses... |
...it doesn't look right at all... |
Stick with the nostril one, though partial can work too. |
I still sorta prefer them without noses though |
Alrighty!! That's it for noses! |
Just remember, cheek level is where the nostrils begin and you can make any nose (even 3/4 view) |
Okay, the last facial feature is the mouth. I think I missed out on eyebrows but I'm sure you know how those work. |
[MOUTHS] |
Mouths are just simple shapes. The magic of mouths is being able to use the right one to give character expression. |
First let me get the technical part of the mouths done (actually drawing them), then we can talk expression. |
Let's start with a normal line mouth. |
...not sure if I need to explain how to draw it, since it really only is a line. Though try to avoid making it super straight. |
When drawing mouths, leave space inbetween the nose and chin. The chin space should be more though. |
Also avoid making them wider than the middle of the characters eyes. |
Another tip is that when you are doing mouths for serious faces, only curve the ends of it. Avoid full curves. |
...though full-curved mouths are okay when you use on chibi characters. |
Alright! Let's move onto more expressive mouths! Mouths with action! |
Well, I'm not going to explain every single kind of mouth you can make but I'll tell you what you can change to give it the expression you want. |
Okay, I'm going to start it off with the grin. |
Begin with just a normal line mouth. |
Make the line alittle more closer to the nose to give the whole mouth room. |
Now try to make an upside down trapizoid. The size of the trapizoid doesn't really matter as long the bottom is smaller than the top. |
And finish it off with two short lines across the middle |
You can make this an open mouth by removing the teeth and adding black in both top corners. |
You can even go as far as to add teeth inside that open mouth. |
Now you can clearly see that this guy is happy right? Now let's make him mad. |
Different right? I only really changed two things. |
One is obviously the eyes. Eyes and mouths are what gives a character its emotion. |
I've also change the mouth slightly. I made the two top corners of the mouth droop down. |
Use these corners to really give your character the emotion you want. |
Lol see? His face shows confidence now instead of anger just by changing those corners. |
So yeah, as long as you know where to put the mouth and keep the upper lip longer than the bottom, then you should be able to make any mouth easily. |
But if you have a mouth that breaks these rules, go ahead and break them...I really don't care lol |
Alright, I think that should be enough for mouths. I've only skipped out on color but I mean...is it that hard? |
Teeth = White, Tongue = Red, Done. |
Phew...we've covered eyes, noses and mouths. Unless you are some alien, that's about the only things found on a face. |
By the way, I consider the eyebrows part of the eye hehe. It isn't though, but whatever... |
I would say we are done but I probably should explain one last thing...3/4 view facial features. |
[3/4 VIEW FACIAL FEATURES] |
Okay, let's hurry so we can finally finish this section of the tutorial. |
Here we have a 3/4 character head. |
Eyes: The closest one is like a normal eye. |
Eyes: The furthest eye is the same height as the other one but is just basically squished lengthwise. |
Nose: Top of the nose starts near the furthest eye. |
Nose: Bottom of nose is leveled with the cheek. |
Nose: Only use Full-bridge or partial nose. Avoid using nostrils only. |
Mouth: The furthest part of it starts leveled with the end of the nose. |
Mouth: The end of it doesn't go past the middle of the other eye. |
Mouth: For open mouths, keep the furthest part of it more slanted. |
OKAY!! THAT'S IT!! Enough with the face! |
Let's move onto the next section, Hair! (Use the main menu) |
Anime has a great history of awesome hair. From Dragonball to Yu-gi-oh. |
Bangs |
Bangs |
Main Hair |
Main Hair |
Color/Shade/Shine |
Color/Shade/Shine |
In my opinion, hair is one of the most important aspect in anime character originality. |
Sometimes, anime hair can get so crazy that their size and anti-gravitational abilities seem plain ridiculous. |
This has lead to many parodies or insult jokes against the hair. |
Hehe...Of course I really don't give a shit. Make your character's hair as crazy as you want. It's all up to you. |
Maybe...just maybe it'll achieve a new level of awesomeness that will stay in our hearts forever. |
Alright! Enough with the blah blah! Let's get started, shall we? |
When I start making the hair, I like to start with the bangs first. |
[BANGS] |
I'll start with the more complicated bang, the elevated bang. (Example on my cosplay wig ^^) |
First make a line with a slight curve outwards. |
Now make the top of it. The wider this line is lengthwise, the wider your bang will be. (Look at it when we finish the bang) |
Next make a long curve down. This determines how long your bang will be. It usually is longer than your first line. |
Then make a curve back near the start. |
To finish it off, make lines down to the hair line, but don't overdo it. |
There! Your basic elevated bang! |
Experiment on different sizes of the curves and length of the lines to really give your character an unique look. |
Here are a couple of ideas. |
The other type of bang is the normal kinda bang. |
...just a bunch of curve spikes...nothing more. |
There's nothing more to it other than curves. |
To make these bangs unique, use different amounts of bangs, sizes, and curve direction etc. |
It's really up to you to be creative and make your own bangs for your character. |
...Okay up until now, I've basically told you to "use curves" and" draw this line", "draw that line" etc. etc. |
Some of you guys may be saying "That's not enough info! I still can't get it right!" |
Well all I have to say is the cure for that is: Practice, Practice, Lather, Rinse and Repeat. |
Heh I don't mean to put down any of you, it really does take alot of work to get better. |
So don't feel so down! With time, I know you will be doing spiked curves like a piece of cake! :) |
Hehe okay enough with the bad motivation booster, let's move onto the main part of the hair. |
[MAIN HAIR] |
Alright, so we have a head with bangs done. Next is the rest of the hair of course. |
First let's decide how we want the bottom half of the hair to be like. |
I'm going to add side bangs to my guy hehe (or side burns...whatever you want to call them) |
I'm now going to add a really spiky bottom to his hair. |
And now a bunch of random curve spikes for the top! |
Okay like what I've said in the [BANGS] section...They really are just curved spikes...I can't say anything more. |
And now basically change the number of spikes, the size and what not to unique-ize your characters hair. |
Be as random as you want!! Make your hair as crazy as you want it to be! |
Here's some random ideas for you :) |
Of course, anime hair doesn't always have to be super ridiculous. They can be simple too. |
Okay, I have a tip to keep in mind when making the main hair. |
When drawing the hair, make sure you completely cover the top of your characters skull. |
I good way to know where the top of the skull is that, the space between eyes to chin is the same as from eyes to top. |
As long as your hair goes farther than that, you're good to go :) |
Long hair (mostly for girls) is pretty easy too. Just add a round top to cover the top of the head and bring it all down. |
Usually, it's the bangs that make these hairs unique... |
...or adding pony/pig tails. |
When making "tails", start with a rectangular base on a side of the head. |
Then basically get creative after that :P |
And if you like what you've made, then double it to make and even more unique look! |
It's really up to your imagination. |
Alrighty!! Enough of the ideas and crap, let's move onto coloring them! |
[COLOR, SHADE AND SHINE] |
Okay, here we have a head full of hair complete with bangs. Kinda like what we just went over. |
First off, color with the base color. (I'm using green since he looks like a palm tree lmao) |
Next is the shading. Obviously you're going to use a darker color for it. |
Now, you'll probably want to consider the light source inorder place the shading correctly... |
...but in all honesty, I'm such a lazy guy that I usually just place the shading at the bottom of everything :P |
Heh so I'm just going to focus putting shading under each spike. |
When shading a spike, start it at the tip and then move along the spike and shade about 1/3 - 1/2 of it. |
Rinse, lather and repeat. |
As for the shine, I usually just line the tops of each spike with a lighter color. |
It really just is a lighter color line. |
You can even add more shine lines in the middle to give it alittle more flare. |
That was the simple way of shading spiked hair...and this is another way but more complicated. (3-level shading) |
I recommend sticking with the simple version if you're a beginner (I stick with the simple version too lol) |
But I'll try to explain the 3-level way if anyone actually likes it better. |
Okay, alot of it is the same with the simple version (darker color for the bottom of each spike, and lighter for shine) |
But right after you finish filling in the base color of the hair, use the darker color and make a zigzag across the middle of the hair. |
This is the zigzag I'm talking about. |
Then basically that darker color becomes the base color for everything under that zigzag. Then the rest is the same as the simple version. |
If you get what I'm talking about, this is pretty easy to get used to. More complicated, but still easy. |
Now, long and round top hair is almost the same but there's alittle more to the lighting, which I will show. |
Okay, first let's start with the base color. |
Next, Shading. It's basically the same way as the previous hair shading (One third - Half of each portion) |
Now line the tops with the shine. Once you're done this, there's one more step that makes round shining special. |
This is the last special shine. It's like a big thick line of shine rounded around the top of the head. |
Make sure to keep it wavy and rounded (not straight) It also curves down toward the middle of it all. |
Hehe! Yeah! I think that does it for hair! |
Phew...That wig was getting alittle itchy...Anyways head over to the next section, Head Constuction! Maybe I'll do another cosplay heh :D (Use the main menu) |
Okay, so we've gone through how to make the facial features and the hair above it. |
Head Shape |

3/4 & Side Heads |
3/4 & Side Heads |
Face Placement |
Face Placement |
Expressions |
Expressions |
Next is actually putting it all together and make a proper head! |
There's also a thingy that will help you make cool expressions at the end of this section. |
If you've seen the Moosh'd Anime Tutorial 1...you'll know what I'm talking about. |
It's (stupidly) called: "THE ULTIMA EXPRESSO MIXTA"!! |
(I was like 13 when I named it that lmao) |
Anyways! Let's get started shall we? |
(Oh and I'm not really liking this cosplay heh...I might change sometime in this section :P) |
What we need first to make the head is...the head shape. |
[HEAD SHAPE] |
Depending on what kind of character you want, the shape will vary. |
For a serious style male head, you'll want something long. I like to envision myself drawing a sunflower seed lol. |
As for chibi or cute, kid-like characters, you'll want something round. Almost like a tomato. |
Notice how this head isn't a complete circle though, but try to get it as round as possible. |
And for serious females, you'll want something inbetween those two (like a round serious head) |
So yeah, here's how those three heads compare to eachother. |
// Serious Male |
// Chibi / Kid |
// Serious Female |
Okay now I'll explain how to draw these head shapes (or how I do them) |
Usually, head shapes are done in 4 strokes. |
First start with one of the sides. This line is almost straight down, with a slight tilt inwards to the head. |
The second stroke is very diagonal line that curves inward. The longer this is, the more serious this head becomes. |
This line really determines the head type. If you plan to make it female, make it more rounder and alittle shorter than the first stoke. |
The last two stokes basically mirror the first two strokes. |
So that's basically it :P |
One thing you might want to look at lastly, is the chin. |
Try to avoid a really pointy chin...if your head's chin becomes pointy, just round it off, no big deal. |
And well that's about it for a straight looking face. I'll quickly show 3/4 view and side view head shapes. |
[3/4 AND SIDE VIEW HEAD SHAPES] |
Okay I'm going to start with the easier of the two: 3/4 head shape. |
Remember what I said in the default head shape, about the 3 different kinds of heads. |
With that in mind, do the first two strokes of that head. |
And then simply finish it off with a shorter 3rd stroke. |
Notice how it ends below the cheek level. |
Anyways, that's how to quickly make a 3/4 view head shape. |
Next is a completely different shape compared to the other two: Side view head shape. |
Okay this one can really get tough to get right, I have trouble with it too. |
Remember to use multiple, continuous strokes. The first stroke is a slightly curved one for the forehead. |
The second one curves out ward. This is the bridge of the nose. |
Next curve back inward for the bottom of the nose. Notice how this line is shorter than the bridge of the nose. |
Also notice that it returns inline with the forehead. |
Now make a small line downwards, this is the upper lip. |
Next is this line. It's the mouth. |
The 6th stroke continues almost at the end of the upper lip. Draw this all the way to the end of the face. |
Now the last stroke! This finishes the chin and basically the whole face. |
Okay, I'm telling you now, if you can't get it right, DON'T BE DISCOURAGED!! This is really hard! |
Here's a couple of things that might help you out. |
The face is almost completely in line aside from the jutting out nose. |
The nose is like a triangle. Though try to make the noses bridge longer than the bottom of the nose. |
The tip of the nose is the half way point. The top and bottom sections are almost the same length. |
Alright, that's about all I can say for the heads shapes. |
Onwards to the easy crap, face placement! |
[FACE PLACEMENT] |
Oh wait brb...going to change into something more comfy... |
Hehe, there we go. This feels so much better! |
Okay back to the lesson :P |
Face placement is really easy to get into your head, but it's really important too. |
With bad face placement, you might end up with something demented looking...which is a big no no. |
Alright, since we've covered how to make the seperate parts of the face already, all I have to tell you is how to place them. |
Okay here we go. First the head shape. |
The first of the face parts should be eyes. |
Eyes should be above the cheek line. |
They should be placed 'roughly' the same distance as cheek to chin. |
The distance inbetween them is roughly the same size of another eye. |
Next, nose. |
The nose remains inbetween the eyes. |
Nostrils (bottom of nose) are aligned at cheek level. |
Finally, mouth. |
Mouth is rarely wider then half way through eyes. |
The distance from nostril is usually smaller than distance from chin. |
Okay that about does it for the face! |
For hair, just leave enough room for a forehead. |
Okay, I don't think I've taught this but I'll show placing for ears. |
The top of the ears are level with top of eye and the bottom is level with nostrils (or cheek level) |
Okay one last thing I want to show before we move on. The neck placement. |
The edges of the neck are almost aligned with the side of the face. |
Try to keep necks this thick. |
Some necks may have different sizes like bigger necks for buff guys and thinner necks for girls. |
But don't stray too far from this thickness. |
Hehe okay I'm going to do a run down for the side view head, just for the hell of it. |
Okay here's a side view head. You'll notice alot of the placements are the same. |
Distance of eyes up from cheek is 'roughly' the same distance of cheek to chin. |
Mouth rarely wider than middle of eyes. |
Ears, top with eyes, bottom with nostrils. |
Well that's about as much as I want to cover for now! |
I just one to point out one last thing before I move onto showing emotions (I promise last!) |
You can break some of these "face placement" rules inorder to make unique characters. |
An example is Ichimaru Gin (from BLEACH). Notice how is mouth is abnormally longer than the middle of his eyes. |
(Actually, his whole face is pretty abnormal haha) |
Anyways, that about wraps up face placement! Onward to expressions! |
[EXPRESSIONS] |
I'm almost sure you all know what facial expressions are. Those things that convey a character's emotion right? |
There's just way too many ways to express emotion so I've made a little gadget called the "ULTIMA EXPRESSO MIXTA" |
For now, just called it the "Expression Mixer" lol |
Anyways I present to you the "Expression Mixer!" Go ahead! Use it to find an expression you might use! |
// Change Expression |
EYES |
MOUTH |
Again, there are too many combinations of expressions to make for me to tell you them all. So make use of the "EM" |
And that's about all for expressions! They're common sense anyways lol. |
That's all for head construction too! Head to the next and last stage, Body! (Use the main menu) |
Okay, we've finally reached the final stage, the body! |
(Unless of course, you skipped all the way here :P) |
Though, before we start I have to say...I'm limiting the learning to only frontal upper body view and arms. |
I know I'm a lazy guy but that is not the reason. |
You see...I have no expertice in human anatomy...AT ALL. |
I will be teaching the n00by Moosh'd way on bodies but I'm limiting it to reduce the damage to your brain. |
Hehe I'm just afraid if you get learn my way too much, it'll be hard to learn it the right way, with right anatomy. |
Okay!! Let's begin! |
Alright, so it all begins with a finished head. |
Now first, you'll have to visualize your characters body before you do any drawing. |
First visualize how thick your characters body is. Most of the time it will be alittle thicker than the head. |
The red line shows how thick I'm visualizing this guy. For girls you might want something thinner. |
Now draw the collar bone. It's that bone that is at the bottom of your neck. |
The middle of it should have a sort of "V" shape to it. This point is going to be a reference point. |
Now from this reference point, look about 45 degress downward to each side of your character. |
At that spot is approximately where our characters's "pecks" start or whatever the nipples are on. |
Now with that information, draw the pecks. Notice how the curve of each peck is where that reference point is. |
On a female, this is where her breasts would be located. |
Okay, so this is where we are. With practice, this takes no longer than 5 seconds. |
The next steps are fairly simple. |
Draw two lines curving inwards under the pecks. This is sorta where the ribs end off. |
Do keep in mind your thickness visualization. But really the pecks are there to remind you of the thickness. |
After that, make two straight lines downard and that should finish of the frontal upper view! |
When you're drawing female bodies, these two lines make more of a difference. |
Notice it? When the ribs are done, the next line curves outwards more on females. |
On guys, it's hardly noticable but just keep this in mind so you don't forget about it when drawing girls. |
Alrighty...so we've got the main part of the body done, let's move onto the arms. |
First comes the shoulder. |
To draw the shoulder, start the stroke from the neck. |
As you go down from the starting point, start to draw the line shallower when you reach the top of the collar bone. |
Continue this line until you have room for another neck. |
And finally round it off when you are diagonally aligned with the top of the peck. |
It may take a while to get used to but there you have it, a shoulder! |
Now before we move onto actually drawing the arm, I'll tell you a couple of things first. |
1) Arms have 3 main parts: Upper arm, elbow and lower arm. |
2) Arms are not straight pipes, make sure to make your arm curvy. |
Hmm...I think that's about all I had to say. Okay! Let's just get to it! |
First the upper arm. There are musles near the start of it which bulge out and curve back near the elbows. |
Notice how it's thicker near the beginning and ends up thinner. |
Now if we put elbow and lower arm together, this next step witll be similar to the upper arm. |
It is similar to the upper arm since it becomes thick and curves back into a thinner thickness. |
Just make sure that the lower arm is never thicker than the upper arm. |
Okay, now when bending an arm keep in mind of the "thick to thin curve" rule. |
Notice how this rule still applies. |
And finally the 3rd piece appears (elbow) when bending occurs. It's just basically a round curve. |
THAT'S IT! WE'RE FINISHED!! |
Frontal upper body view. CHECK! |
Arms. CHECK! |
That's about all of what I promised to talk about! |
I'm sorry, I really think it's best for me not to teach hands and the lower body. |
Well anyways, this concludes the body section and the whole tutorial for that matter! |
I hope I was able to help you guys and I hope you guys have fun drawing anime!!!! XD |

This document is his last known "project" which was retrieved in a discarded USB Storage. We have yet to locate his current location but he's most likely chilling in his basement. We were able to get him in questioning before he fled and we have discovered that he was born in the Philippines. At the age of 2, his family moved to Canada in which he has lived up until now. He has no professional training as a programmer nor artist and claims to use a mouse to draw. We have yet to confirm that. We urge you to stay away from this subject as his maniac addiction to anime and videogames may cause mental disruption and temporary insanity. TOP SECRET: - Subjects name: Unknown to date - Sex: F - Alias: Wics, Wic - Last known Location: Australia - DOB: 1991 - Weapon of Choice: Mental Capacity, able to out wit the opponent - Favorite Artist: Danny Elfman, Blind Guardian |
After extensive research we have found possible links, that a girl, at the time been known as Wics, has been having constant contact with the individual of MOO-R2C- 000, we are unknown of her purpose of doing so or about why she has not come forward, but we are presuming that she is somewhere in Australia. From what we could gather she is a novice at computer systems until she learns about them, but this is found out only by several websites which have her alias on it. For now, she is under extreme suspicion and should not be taken lightly, current sources say that she has a high relationship with MOO-R2C-000, having many of the same interests, and her mental stability is yet to be confirmed. At the moment only watch her, do not make a move until the appropriate time, then we may be able to get the subject of MOO-R2C-000. |
